About:

Designers Emil Krøyer and Mads Sætter-Lassen met at the Royal Danish Academy, working together ever since. They are continuously exploring different design paths, always with a focus on materials and their qualities. For Krøyer-Sætter-Lassen, honesty is key. Through their designs, they want every small detail to remain out in the open, encouraging functional elements to become design features. Through their objects they strive to reveal production processes and materials, making sure that their products are straightforward and easy to comprehend. The duo has a methodical way of working and investigating their practice. Their constant curiosity for materials and design possibilities keeps them on an ongoing explorative design path.
