About:

Archival Studies is an architecture and fabrication studio that researches, develops, and builds solutions of high artistic quality. Since 2018 they have been working their way up in scale: starting with furniture, then interior architecture, and finally, the architectural scale. As the name implies, they begin each process by understanding the already existing. Essentially, Archival Studies attempts to design as little as possible, letting existing patterns of life frame and direct their work. Working from Valby, Copenhagen Area, Archival Studies was founded by Qiang Qiang, Yuan-Chieh, Emil Roman Froege and Benediktas Burdulis.
