“This is a big benefit that 3D printing has brought us – making mistakes, making adjustments, and making things better.”

About:

ninetyoneninetytwo (91-92) is the Copenhagen-based 3D printing studio founded in 2020 by Zeyu Rong and Weibo Sun. Truly contemporary in their outlook and execution, the studio creates a range of 3D printed products from recycled plastic filament, conscientiously manufactured to create a growing collection of captivating products that have a minimal impact on the environment. They create objects with the belief that 3D printing technology is positioned to become more involved in our sustainable daily lives by localising production, minimising material waste and reducing energy consumption. From their foundation, ninetyoneninetytwo have made a commitment to work only with recycled materials, without any additional surface finishing to best display the raw recycled material. All their products are designed with a peculiar yet reasonable form which can be 3D printed without support material, allowing their products to minimise production waste.
