VDF x The Mindcraft Project

The Mindcraft Project has teamed up with Dezeen’s Virtual Design Festival (VDF) to present The Mindcraft Project’s new digital exhibition of research-driven and experimental design projects from Denmark.

10 projects by Danish designers and artists would have been showcased at The Mindcraft Project’s planned exhibition at Milan Design Week. However, as the design week was cancelled, the exhibition was swiftly transformed into a digital experience. Copenhagen Design Agency worked with Wang & Söderström to create the virtual show.

VDF is Dezeen’s ongoing Virtual Design Festival. As part of the launch of The Mindcraft Project’s digital exhibition, VDF showcases ten videos profiling the work of each of the designers in The Mindcraft Project on dezeen.com.

The Mindcraft Project is a platform for explorative and experimental design from Denmark, which has been exhibiting at Milan since 2008. However, the 2020 edition of the exhibition was turned into a purely digital experience due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Mindcraft Project 2020 unfolds a curated selection of artistic, research-driven and experimental design projects by ten of Denmark’s most notable designers and artists.
